Lately, we've seen a proliferation of ads from agencies offering "commission-free" brokerage services, meaning a flat fee. "Save an average of CHF 28,700!" one of them even claims.

Be wary when they promise you the best of both worlds! While a flat fee of CHF 10,000 is certainly more advantageous than a 3% commission, you still need to compare the final sale price!
